Updates on local development and planning issues
FCRA provides a forum to consider and discuss planning applications that are likely to affect local residents. We rely on residents to bring new applications to the attention of the committee and residents. This can be done through Forum articles or by speaking at the quarterly meeting. For urgent issues emergency meetings can be called.
This website includes some historic applications for reference. The most current large scale planning issues relevant to the local area are:
- Christchurch town centre old police station site (Approved 20 Feb 2020) Updates will be posted.
- Pinebeach nursing home, Southcliffe Road
- Marine Coastguard Agency site at Steamer point
- Noisy Lobster: Feb 2020 Approved.
