Friars Cliff  is a quiet community by the beach. While summers are extremely busy with visitors and parking can be a challenge, there is plenty to do all year round. With a large secondary school in walking distance there is a blend of all ages living alongside each other.

The FCRA social committee organises trips and quizzes that provide additional opportunities to come together aside from the quarterly meetings.

This section profiles local people and various community and social groups for all ages.
