Sales & Advertising
To chair both public quarterly meetings and average of 5 committee meetings per year. To liaise with the local Councillors and other residents associations as needed. Be aware of local issues and planning requirements. Respond to requests and enquiries from Residents.
Support and step in for the Chair as needed. Provide support in planning for meetings and articles for the Forum.
FCRA Secretary: estimate: 30-40 hours per year
Book All Saints Church Hall for 4 meetings per year, and Stanpit Village Hall Meeting Room for 5 committee meetings. Attend 5 evening meetings per year and write up notes Attend Quarterly open meetings and write up notes.
Collect contributions from Head Road Warden, count and note houses that have paid. Hand bagged money to Treasurer to pay in. Update records.
Head Road Warden – estimate a day a month,
Liaise with the Road Warden Group and keep a record of Road Wardens. Recruit new Road Wardens where necessary. Ensure that Road Wardens are acknowledged and appreciated for their invaluable work distributing copies of the forum and collecting contributions. Collect contributions from Road Wardens.
Treasurer – estimate a day per month
Maintain the FCRA accounts received and payable. Write cheques as required for donations and room hire/Forum printing, Liaise with the Auditor. Managing payments and receipts, banking donations. Prepare our annual statement of account for the AGM. Liaise with the Frum Editor to ensure the advertisements are in place as booked. Prepare invoices for adverts.
Advertising and sales – Estimate 2 hours per month
To manage Forum advertisers, recruit new ones as space allows, chase invoices to be paid.
Forum Editor – estimate: 10 hours per quarterly issue plus attend quarterly and committee meetings
To manage the Forum magazine, collate articles from contributors and write short articles, update core pages in the Forum. Liaise with the treasurer and advertising and sales person on adverts to update /replace; liaise with Web Editor to add articles and minutes to the website We have just built a new WordPress, blog based site that can be update easily.
FCRA website editor – estimate 1 hour per month
Liaise with the Forum Editor to add topical items, maintain links, upload the minutes of meetings and features from the Forum.
Social Secretary / Team – VACANT
To organise one or two social events, liaise with the chair to have speakers at quarterly meetings. Facilitate Christmas drinks.
